What to
Do with Scan Results?
|
Introduction
All the
adware, spyware and other problems detected by Free AntiSpyware
will be listed and you are allowed to export the results
into a text file so that you can use it for further diagnosis,
analysis or other emergencies.
Display Scan Results
When
the scanning is completed, there is a list of scan results.
Examine the list of found problems. By default, all found problems
are checked. You can look through the whole list and view details
of each detection by clicking on "Tell me more".
View Detection Details
You can
see the detection details like threat name,
severity level, file type, location and so on. Click
"Back to results" to go back to the scan
results list.
Solve Detected Problem
If you
think that the program detected is really useful for you (this might
happen for example with some types of adware or spyware-enabled
programs when you are aware of their privacy flaws but still want
to use them), uncheck it. After you make sure all the unnecessary
ones are checked, click "Solve checked problems"
and let Free AntiSpyware solve checked problems.
Output Scan Results
If you
want to output the scan results as *.txt, click "Export
results to the text file", while "Report
possible false positive" to report the selected one
as false positive.
